The new city park in Segrate: the project CentrOparco www.centroparco.it/
CentrOparco is a landscape development project by AG&P Studio, with the help of some outside professionals who add their specialist contribution. It is based on the integration of natural, agricultural, energy, social, economic and cultural components, without neglecting the intimate and poetic aspect of living with Nature. AG&P Studio has carried out the project from its beginning and has used the work programs developed by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development sector for the implementation of a new urban park that includes the conversion of a large part of the territory of Segrate. This study evaluates the principles and ideas underlying the planning and establishment of the park. The study takes great care over new expectation and requirements and it analyses al the problem issues which inevitably emerge in such large and important projects.
